With over a decade of experience as a High School Teacher specialising in senior school education, I've consistently achieved stellar results in Business Studies within the Higher School Certificate. My passion lies in implementing school-wide initiatives that empower students to reach their utmost potential. Beyond the classroom, I've spearheaded and supervised a transformative school program guiding students through the historic Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea, blending educational enrichment with physical endurance.
Recently, I broadened my expertise by obtaining qualifications as a Nutritional Advisor, seamlessly integrating my educational background with a deep understanding of nutrition. Drawing from my own active lifestyle and sporting interests, I engage students in meaningful dialogues about physical activity, dietary choices, and healthy lifestyles. Through years of observation, I've recognised the significant influence of nutrition and exercise, particularly on female students navigating the challenges of fluctuating energy levels throughout their menstrual cycles.
My tailored programme caters specifically to the unique needs of teenage girls, especially those in Year 10 preparing for their senior studies. Structured as a half-day incursion, conveniently fitting into the school day, it focuses on providing practical guidance aligned with the menstrual cycle phases. My ability to connect with female students enables me to offer personalised advice on exercise and nutrition choices, crucial for sustaining energy levels during the demanding senior years of high school.

My extensive experience teaching teenage girls coupled with my firsthand understanding of their challenges from attending an all-girls school informs a nuanced approach to learning. Complementing this, my active lifestyle, which includes tennis, running, swimming, and Bikram yoga, underscores my holistic commitment to health and well-being. As a certified Nutritional Advisor and Sports Nutritional Advisor, I bring a comprehensive understanding of nutrition and exercise, tailored specifically to the needs of teenage girls, to the table.
